
The fkaCS Orientation and Engagement Kit helps early childhood services develop genuine connections with children and families during orientation. The resource equips educators with tools and strategies to support families and children in sharing their identity and culture and build an understanding of the kindergarten service context.

Respecting children’s cultural identities, including their languages, is essential for culturally respectful and responsive practice. fkaCS Community Language (Bilingual) Support Workers help Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) service staff and educators by facilitating communication in a common language to connect and engage the child and family in the service.

fkaCS helps Early Years Services to build their capacity to develop culturally rich and responsive environments. These packages are tailored to assist Early Years Services create and implement a cultural inclusion strategy that accommodates different ways of being and understanding.

The Cultural Inclusion Reflective Practice Toolkit includes 20 Provocation Cards that prompt teachers to reflect on and drive practice changes that are culturally inclusive and responsive to their learning community. The kit can be used collectively in team environments or individually for ongoing professional growth.

Items in this suite of packages assist kindergartens to build and embed a library of multilingual and culturally rich resources to support children’s literacy development. Educators are supported by our pedagogy and practice consultants with advice and guidance about multilingual literacy in the learning environment.
